About Me
My name is Lauren Jordan and I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. I love what I do and believe in the medicine I practice. Since I was 18 years old, I have set out to be part of a profession in which I can help people. Acupuncture became apart of my life, first as a patient, and that grew into me becoming a practitioner.
Education
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Integrative Therapeutic Practice from Metropolitan State University. I went on to receive my Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College.
I have training from Harbin, China where I studied at Heilongjiang Chinese Medicine Hospital. I learned how to treat neurological conditions utilizing scalp acupuncture and electrical stimulation. I have continued my education with Dr. Jake Fratkin learning how to help support thyroid and adrenal health. I am currently 95% done with a sports medicine program with Whitfield Reaves to specialize in pain management, sports injuries, acute and chronic pain.
For fun
Outside of work, I spend time with my husband, son and our 2 dogs. I am an avid reader. I have recently completed back to back trips hiking rim to rim in the Grand Canyon in 1 day. I enjoy hiking or at least I use to, those hiking trips have me reconsidering. I cook many meals. I love to travel to places where the sun is shining and there is a beach nearby.
